Les Solomon - Founder

 

Les Solomon has worked in the entertainment industry for over thirty years and is best known in both Australia and the United States as a theatrical manager and agent. He is also a respected director, producer, radio broadcaster and journalist.

 

Les has brought several of his top clients to New York with considerable success in both the cabaret and theatre world and has assisted many performers in attaining greencards and American representation.

 

Les was a regular TV entertainment correspondent on "The Midday Show" on the Nine Network in Australia and has worked as a freelance entertainment journalist for New idea, The Age-Melbourne, Channel Nine, Woman’s Day and Campaign Magazine.

 

Les worked for eleven years as a national broadcaster and entertainment expert for the Macquarie Network and hosted the programme "Australia Overnight".  

 

In February 2014, Les was awarded  "The Hayes Gordon Memorial Award for Contribution to Australian Theatre" from the GLUGS theatrical organisation.

 

Les has directed and produced several cabaret shows and plays including:

Judi Connelli -  "Back to Before"  at the New York Town Hall

David Campbell -  “Doin Cabaret ‘n Stuff”  at The El Rocco room

Tim Draxl - “Back for Seconds” in Sydney and Melbourne

James Wright -  "The Jambles Rambles Show" in Sydney and Melbourne

Hayden Tee -  "The Muftee Show" in Sydney and New York

"Relative Merits"  - at The Stables and King St Theatre.

"Three Winters Green" - at The Stables and King St Theatre

"Only Heaven Knows"  - at the Sydney Opera House

 "Love Valour Compassion" - at The Footbridge Theatre

Directed and conceived the Australian  - "New York Recovery Concert" 

“The Credeaux Canvas”   - Seymour Centre

"The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me” - at the Oxford Hotel  and the Butterfly Club
